About Philomena
Philomena Bradford is a multidisciplinary artist living in the Bay Area. She explores loss and disease through the media of clay, painting, textile, and performance.
Philomena earned her BA in English Literature from Rice University in 2013 and her MA in Theatre and Performance Studies from Brown University in 2016. She collaborated internationally as a director, an actor, and a writer for projects inspired by subjects as various as the life and writings of Simone Weil, sea turtles, love triangles, écriture féminine, plastic straws, role-play, and her mother.
She is currently studying toward an MA in Art Therapy.
